Dr. Gregory Schwaid was born and raised in Tampa. He attended the University of South Florida for his bachelor's degree in biomedical science and then his master's degree in public health (MPH). After completing medical school in Bradenton, he moved to Long Island, New York for a medical internship within the North Shore Long Island Jewish (NSLIJ) hospital system. After medical school, Dr. Schwaid completed residency training with the Florida Department of Health in West Palm Beach.

Dr. Schwaid has nine years of clinical experience in urgent care and occupational medicine settings. He is board certified in both occupational & environmental medicine, as well as general preventive medicine.

Dr. Schwaid is active in professional societies and served as the President of the American Osteopathic College of Occupational and Preventive Medicine (AOCOPM). He has been the lone author of two editions of a leading preventive medicine textbook. He also has extensive experience in disability medicine—Contact Dr. Schwaid.
